The District is closely monitoring the storm for Wednesday night into Thursday morning. At this time, we will be having a delayed opening at the Transfer Station to allow for our crew to do a proper clean up. We ask everyone to be patient as we make sure the station is safe for operation.

We will continue to monitor the storm and especially the winds. As of now, the stations will operate at their normal times, except for the delay. Please be aware that the situation may change.

Congratulations to David’s win for a seat on FIWMD’s board of commissioners. Term January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2025

The District will once again be using one of the compacting dumpsters at the Transfer Station for the collection of Bottles and Cans during the winter months. Starting Monday, Dec. 7^th, the normal trash dumpster on the top level will be used just like last winter. Signs will be out to remind everyone of this temporary change. If you have any questions, the attendant will be happy to assist you.
